Your existing account
The Windows client connects to the same Secret Sauce service. Sign in with your existing Sauce account; messages, servers and tickets do not need to be transferred. An internet connection is required. Support opens in its own tab and can use your Sauce account or a separate support account. Staff helpdesk access still requires an authorised Sauce account.
Desktop controls
Workspace and Support tabs keep their pages open independently. Back, Forward and Reload controls sit in the title bar. Ctrl + comma opens Desktop preferences, Ctrl + Shift + S opens Support, and Ctrl + plus/minus changes workspace zoom. Ctrl + 0 resets zoom. Use Copy build details in Desktop preferences → About this app when reporting a desktop issue.
Tray, alerts and microphone
Keeping the app in the tray and launching at Windows sign-in are optional. Windows message alerts also follow your Sauce account notification settings and require a connected workspace. Microphone access is for permitted staff voice rooms; Windows privacy settings must allow microphone access. TURN is inactive, so some networks may not connect. Switching to Support keeps the staff voice page open; navigating away from that room ends the call.
Connections and privacy
Spotify, Roblox and Facebook linking opens in your system browser. Sign in there if needed, complete the provider connection, then reload Connections in the desktop app. Clear this desktop sign-in removes local sessions and website storage without deleting online account content. Account deletion requests are in Settings → Data & Deletion Requests.
Preview and updates
The first Windows x64 installer is an unsigned preview. The preview has no automatic app update feed; install a newer official installer when provided. Website features update through the service. If a workspace fails to connect, use Reconnect or open the website. Include the desktop build, affected page, exact error, Windows version and time in a support request.
