Join and connect
Open a permitted voice channel and choose Join muted. Allow microphone access when asked. If the room is paused, full, or your allowance is used, follow the displayed explanation. Joining again repeatedly will not bypass a room or account limit.
Share a game or window
In Canary Desktop, choose Share screen, select a window or display in the Secret Sauce source picker, then confirm. Use a game window to share play without exposing the whole desktop. Crew+ can choose up to 4K when the room permits it; hardware and network conditions affect actual quality. Screen audio is not shared.
When sharing fails
Check microphone and screen permissions, room access and whether another person is already presenting. Stop and retry the share once. A black protected window may not be capturable. Some networks require a TURN relay, which is not currently enabled. Include your build number and the displayed error in a Support case.
Push to talk
Choose Push to talk in Audio settings, or use the mode required by the channel. Hold Space outside text fields or hold the on-screen Talk control. Releasing the key, losing focus or leaving the room stops microphone transmission.
Protect your information
Enable Streamer mode before presenting. Prefer a single window. Private sections can show a warning while sharing. Streamer mode cannot conceal other apps in an entire-display capture.
