Automatic checks
Canary checks for owner-approved builds at startup and periodically while running. When a downloaded update is ready, a green Update Canary control appears near the top-right.
Install the update
Save unsent drafts, choose Update Canary, and confirm the restart. Calls end during a restart. Updates preserve the existing desktop account partition; revoked or expired sessions may still require sign-in.
Settings action error
Older builds rejected Settings actions after a section link changed the page’s hash. The corrected native build accepts those anchors while retaining frame checks. If you have not received that approved build, restart Canary once and open the update control. Report the exact build if the error remains.
